Team Awards

Team awards help drive the friendly competition that makes each year better than the last! Numbers for awards are calculated for registrations and donations received by a specific date.

Team members may continue to raise funds up until May 31st, 2012. However, any registrations or funds collected after the cut-off dates listed below will not be considered for award calculation purposes.

"March Madness" Team Award

Get a jump on things! This award will go to the top team as of NOON on March 31st, 2012. Our generous sponsor Moxie Java will donate coffee and pastries to the team that raises the most money by our March 31st deadline. The Komen staff will hand deliver these tasty treats! 

Sweepstakes Award - "Toot Your Own Horn"
The team with the largest financial impact (highest total of fundraising dollars) as of NOON on May 7th, 2012 will be honored at the start line and the team captain and two members will be allowed to blow the start horn at this year's race. We like to call it "tooting your own horn."

VIP Status
The top fundraising teams of each category as of NOON on May 7th, 2012 will each get 2 parking spots in our VIP parking lot just down from the starting line.
Please Note: Parkcenter Blvd. from Beacon to Mallard will have a hard closure from 6am-noon and you will have to have our special top team parking pass to get through to the VIP parking area.
 

Largest Teams
Team plaques will be awarded to the largest team in each category and will be distributed on Race Day. Those teams will also receive recognition from the start line.

Team Captain Award
Each Team Captain that attends the Team Captain Kick-Off - April 11th, 2012 6:30-8:30p.m. at the McCleary Auditorium will receive a gift certificate from our official team’s sponsor Shu’s Idaho Running Company. Click here to RSVP for the Team Captain Kick Off.

Poster Child

The top fundraising team with 20 members or less as of May 31st, 2012 will have a special team photo shoot and will be on the 2013 Team poster!
