Where Your Money Goes
Up to 75 percent of net proceeds generated by the Affiliate stay in the Boise Affiliate’s 19 county service area.
The remaining 25 percent is sent to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program to fund ground breaking research.
During the 2010-2011 grant cycle, Komen funds covered over 1800 screening mammograms, 336 diagnostic exams (ultrasounds, etc), patient assistance (gas cards, grocery cards) for 115 patients, and provided breast health education and information to over 6,100 Idaho women in our 19 county service area.
