Educational
Komen Boise strives to provide resources, educational materials and breast cancer awareness and outreach programs to the entire community. If you would like to request a speaker for a health fair or breast cancer event, need materials for an employee wellness event, or if you just want more information about breast cancer and what you can do to know more about your risk, we are here to help.
Request a Speaker
Our Komen Ambassadors can offer educational information, personal testimonies of survivorship and/or co-survivorship, as well as information about Komen Boise and how to become more involved. We will coordinate with you and try our best to provide a speaker for your event.
If you would like to request a speaker, please email your request to jennifer Poole at jpoole@komenboise.org and include the following information:
- Name of your organization
- Type of event
- Name
- Address
- City/State/ZIP Code
- Phone Number (including Area Code)
- Date, time and location of the event
- Number of attendees you expect
Educational Materials
The Boise Affiliate is happy to offer a limited number of educational materials at no cost to organizations within our 19-county service area. Materials can be requested by emailing Jennifer Poole, Misson Coordinator, at jpoole@komenboise.org or by calling the Affiliate Office during normal office hours at 208-384-0013.
